It's an honor to meet you, albeit in cyberspace. A few years ago I spent a month on a drug-policy reform speaking/media tour of Australia (four states, six cities) and came away much impressed that so many in the law enforcement community were questioning the effects of current policies and practices. First stop was Sydney, which I understand is your home town. Is it possible we met on that occasion? If so, you'll no doubt recall I was promoting Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (www.leap.cc). If you're inclined, check us out. It's been most gratifying to see our numbers grow so rapidly, both domestically and internationally. In any case, because of your diagnosis and your insightful and generous reaction to it, you top the list of my heroes of the day.
