Hi JoeyLiz...I had a right breast mastectomy 3 weeks ago, on Dec 20. I had bone and CT scan, and the CT scan showed am anormaly on my thyroid. I did an ulrasound to the neck and the results revealed that I have a growth on my thyroid.
I am now being referred to the thyroid clinic for biopsy and further investigations.
I have also done blood tests for thyroid function and results for these were normal.
Not sure if there is a correlation between the growth in my thyroid and breast cancer but hoping not.
