OMG what a useless Dr's receptionist ... she shouldn't be in that job.
I am SO sorry to hear of this development @JoeyLiz - specially that the sonographer was giving you a hint that you need to get this followed up on .... Also Very interesting that you mentioned Thyroid in the same sentence with Breast Cancer - my surgeon in Sydney is a specialist in both - and they are the only bits he 'does'.
I hope you get your bloods results asap & can see a thyroid specialist soon as as well. As @Brenda5 says - if you are really concerned & can't see your GP - go to ER - they should be able to access all your info online.
