Tattoos to cover breast surgery scars

Hello everyone,

We have had a request from our Communications team to see if anyone in our online network is interested in being interviewed for a possible newspaper story.  They would like to speak with a woman who has had a tattoo/s on her breast cancer scars.  If you have done so and are interested, please let me know and I will forward your details to our Communications Manager.  Thanking you

    I recently had a tattoo where my nipple used to be on my left breast from a lumpectomy 5 years ago.  The tattoo is the same colour as my other areola but it's in the shape of a love heart.  I didn't really want a replacement nipple but wanted something to symbolise my journey, which I discovered was a journey about self love.
    I love it and it looks really cool.
    Happy to share my story if that's appropriate.
