@Nannatash I had chemo and my periods stopped for 2 years. I went on Tamoxifen for about 1 year. After my period came back I got heavy bleeding and felt quite down. The Tamoxifen caused Endometrial Hyperplasia.
I had a Mirena to stop the bleeding. I’ve since had this removed because of other side effects. Tamoxifen can cause issues and it’s important to monitor it all. I noticed the gynaecologist was keen for me to have a hysterectomy. I resisted this and now things have settled down. I’m still cancer free at the 3 year mark and am peri-menopausal. My use of Tamoxifen was by far the most stressful part of having cancer. All the best.
