Sentinel Node Biopsy

I replaced mine every couple of days when it started lifting.  I was told to keep it covered for a few weeks to keep sterile plus reduce scarring.   I explained to the pharmacist what I needed the tape for and was given something which breathed but still provided support for both my sentinel node scar plus mastectomy scar 

If you are worried ring the great nurse/ surgeon or see your local gp- better to b clear about it than worry over weekend

Not sure - mine was taken off by surgeon BUT I was given another bandage before leaving hospital in anticipation of it falling off just to keep the area clean
