The waiting game is over as I received my pathology results yesterday. Not the outcome I was hoping...

Good that the waiting is over and yet scary that you have to have more surgery and the lumps were larger than first thought. Let's hope that they the lymph nodes they take 2nd time round yield more positive news.
It's amazing how much terminology and medical terms we seem to quickly learn, forced I guess! Take heart from your HER2 negative and ER, PR positive results, I have the same and that's actually good (as far as cnacer path can be!!) Sure your surgeon/oncolgist will explain more when your brain can take a bit more in.
Whingeing and accepting that not all days will be positive is part of working our way through this maze so go for it!
