Robyn,you are so right.We are here in a peer support role and not a professional one.It is not ethical for any of us to give medical or mental health advice to others at this network.We can only share our own experience of bc and how we feel.This may be quite different to another person's experience.As for statistics,my bc has never conformed to them.Stats are best left to the specialists and even they can't always predict.I think it's good to question our treatments but this doesn't mean we won't follow through.Having discussions at this network can help us ask the necessary questions at our specialist appointments.After that,we can then make informed/confident decisions for ourselves.
