Recently @Summerhill38 had posted a photo of her new babies that had hatched. The last couple of nights we've been wandering the garden and came across Scarlet Honeyeater - apparently it is unusual to have these in our part of Victoria. - Those pelicans look so small in the photo and I didn't realize how big they are close up until I took a bait bucket down the to beach and they all wanted to be my friend. Those bills make a snap sound too! I didn't know if I should feed them or run lol.
- Wow, how clever of you to get such great, clear shots and at night time too. They must be quite tame for you to have gotten close enough without scaring them off? I love these nature shots. Thanks for posting.

- Lol they spray for mozzies these days so not nearly as bad
- No wonder it reminded me of Bribie!! My mum and dad lived there for years, pretty place if you can stand the mozzies!
