Hello, new to group

Hi everyone, I'm new to the group. A little about myself... I'm 39yo, mum of 2 beautiful kids, girl 4yo, & boy 1.5yo. I found a painless lump in the shower and thought it was a blockage as I'd just finished breastfeeding my son. Luckily I saw my gp as I was diagnosed in January with stage 2, grade 2 multifocal IDC with tumor(s) spanning 9cm throughout the breast. Had a right mastectomy with full node clearance 1st Feb and have healed well. I'm public patient and was not offered reconstruction options but was told I could go on a wait list after my treatments. I accepted this in the whirlwind and shock of it all, but now I'm wanting to know what my recon options are. My pathology was er+ pr+ her- with no node involvement but some vascular invasion. Because of tumor size, an area of close margin, and my age I was recommended 6x 21 day cycles of TAC plus 6 weeks radiotherapy and 5-10 years hormone treatment. I have just one cycle of chemo to go in 2 weeks then onto rads. I wanted to look into recon options before starting rads as I heard it may limit choices. I'm leaning more towards implant as I'm not keen for the major ops in flap recon plus I'm fairly slim (well before chemo I was haha). I am also thinking I'd like to remove my left breast and have a double. I will be having genetic testing because I'm under 40. I'm not even sure if I can have profilactic mastectomy/recon under public if I test negative. Any thoughts/experiences would be appreciated.
