I would also like the thank Daina, I'll try to keep the treatment experience brief! Diagnosed sept 2009 , 3 lumps and 1 infected lymph node , decided to have bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction stage 1 and full lymph clearance.hence the nick name Nipp_less!!!! Survived that! Next decided to have chemo , that was no fun but survived that ! To top it all off had radiation and survived that as well ... Had to wait a while for stage 2 recon due to raidiation side effects , mean while hospital was cut off in the floods while I had implants put in - Survived that! Got some nipple reconstructed and tattoos ! cute! ( not so nipp less now! ) Trying to remember to take Tamoxifen every night! Memory shot to pieces after chemo , onco wants to put me on Aromatase inhibitors , been in Menopause a while now , so should work better , but it will zap my bones even more than Tamoxifen , got diagnosed with Oesteoperosis 6 months ago. Not enough vit D girls !!!! We have to get that checked if on Meds . But I'm surviving that too !
