Getting Ready for Winter.
I've just finished another pair of wristwarmers / fingerless gloves for winter. Between the problems with my joints, not at all helped by dear old letrozole, and terrible Reynaud's, I'm hoping they'll help. The cold is a huge trigger for the Reynaud's and also makes my hands ache even more. Regular gloves make knitting impossible and also can't turn the page on my kindle either. I've been tapping the screen on the tip of my nose or my chin to do this. Not sure if the bare finger tips will still be a problem. These were the sort of item I thought the pressure garment folks might find useful to hide the hand part sticking from the end of winter long sleeves, as some had not liked the ugliness of them.

- Harvey1903MemberThanks @jennyss - yes, quite little spot on a dog friendly beach. Had to cancel last year because of treatments, but fingers crossed we will get there this year.
- jennyssMemberDear @Harvey1903, I just looked up Kinka Beach on the internet - Going north for winter! Have a great time
- Harvey1903MemberCaravan packed. Up to Kinka beach for two months. J
- arpieMemberI wore the ‘thermal gloves’ to bed last (pic in my previous post) and woke up this morning with my hands even sorer again!! There was too much compression I think .... even with bright red marks around the base of my thumbs! And they were the ‘large size’! I won’t try that again!

- SisterMemberI'm going to show my husband @zoffiel - he will be very impressed. He's up the hill at the moment throwing down the lengths he left there to dry in the heat ahead of the buckets (really?) of rain we're expecting over the next few days.
- kmakmMemberColour me impressed @Zoffiel. That's a lot of 'therapy'!
- ZoffielMemberAnd filed @jennyss Heaven forbid the stringy bark gets mixed up with the yellow box. Or the red box with the yellow. Then the red gum has to be separated into dry, very dry and 'still has bark on it'. Once a librarian, always a librarian..
- jennyssMemberAwesome woodpile @Zoffiel - all neat and chopped up!
- kmakmMemberWinter is coming...
