Hi Annette
Sorry to hear that you're still feeling discomfort from your last operation and still feeling pain. Annette can I ask how big your tumour was & where was it located in your breast (more towards the armpit or nearer to the nipple?). I had my PT removed a few weeks ago, had the lumpectomy, it was benign but there are no clear margins established. I have an appointment with an oncologist on the 1st of August and back to my breast specialist on the 3rd of August, after that I will know more about what is next in my treatment. I strongly believe a clear margin is needed and I hope they do it as PT are unpredictable and you hear so many mixed reports from benign, intermidiate and malignant. So after reading some of the information I am a little confused. I live in Sydney and the appointment that I have on the 1st is with a Professor recommended to me by Katie (She has been a Godsend, Katie started this blog & has been a wealth of information & an inspiration). Hopefully I will know more shortly, I wish your pain ceases soon and you feel better.
take care
Lydia
