🧬 Some breast cancers are linked to genetic differences
For some members of our community, a breast cancer diagnosis comes with questions about family history, genetic testing, and what it means for loved ones. Genes like BRCA1, BRCA2, and PALB2 are known to effect breast cancer risk, and for some families with a high prevalence of this gene there is testing available.
