Thinking Tatoos

I have had bilateral reconstruction with expanders and have two long horizontal scars. I have applied lipstick nipples to see if that would be worth doing but was not loving the look. There is apparently a web site with recon boobs tatooed with art. Any comments/ thoughts?

    I have an expander which will be replaced after chemo, radiation etc. I went with this option because I saw the results for my good friend who went through bc 5 years ago. Double mastectomy, expanders, implants and nipple tattoos later the result was fantastic. Good luck with your journey x Silke

    Helena, I just saw a CS yesterday and she showed me many photos of outcomes. I was so happy to be told I could finally have reconstruction I almost missed the nipple part LOL. She showed me pictures of a technique she uses using the straight scar only, nothing from down stairs. She has a professional tattooist finish off about 8 weeks later....I kid you not they were amazing. Vinnie myer is coming to oz at the request of our Sam, see her post. He does amazing work. If your more artistic, look at www.breastfree.org for ideas. Go with what you want..I do not have an artistic bone in my body but I love to cook...maybe I would have a couple of cupcakes with a cherry on top! Xx
