Double mastectomy Tasmania
Hi
Can anyone recommend a plastic surgeon for a double mastectomy and reconstruction in Tasmania? I’m yet to decide if I want a flap reconstruction or implants so ideally would like recommendations for surgeons that do both. Launceston is my closest town for surgery. I could also look to Melbourne but am aware it will likely be more costly. Thank you for any insight.

I am in Sydney not Tasmania but can suggest you join the private choosing breast reconstruction group to access photos and stories.
i had double mastectomy and DiEp flap revivsttt ER action and my story dnd photos are in the private group .
It’s a big surgery and big recovery but I would do it again in a heartbeat .
Sorry Sue12 - I can't help you with surgeons ..... but you may like to join the private Reconstruction Group & ask your questions there ...... they also have photos of the different procedures that may help with your decision making.
