Diep surgery recovery
hi everyone I’m having double mastectomy and diep reconstruction in about 3 weeks and I was wondering if anyone could give some insight into recovery and how they managed once at home from hospital ...
I am still awaiting reconstruction (diep flap) and realise it will not be an easy few weeks. For those of you already post surgery, do you think it was all worth it. The longer I have to wait the less confident I am about proceeding. I have four daughters all born via caesarean so I am not a stranger to abdominal surgery.
