Hi @Eastmum. Happy to say my father-in-law had a better day today. Still hasn't moved his bowels though which is worrying him tremendously. I however, am finally close to achieving normalcy on this front! After over five months I can't tell you what a relief that is!
I'm not back up to full speed at home, but I'm back in charge of the laundry, which is a big job with seven of us in the house! My husband is on leave to the end of the week, so next week will be much busier for me. I did feel like baking today, it's a happy place for me, so I made a batch of wholemeal banana choc chip muffins. Everyone enjoyed those! Me in cooking the kitchen is very normal, hopefully it will help my niece & nephew settle down. It's been very difficult for them, their distress has been high.
Plastic surgeon tomorrow for first post-hospital check-up. I presume the nurse will take off all the surgical tapes and clean me up a bit. I do hope so, I am so itchy and irritated. It's driving me nuts. K xox
