After 5 years closer to kissing this thing goodbye!!!
Hey All!!
Well Negative Genetic Testing results last week and today my Surgeon catchup. He's ecstatic with the results and it takes a double mastectomy off the table. He said both times i have had aggressive treatment and particularly with Chemo this time, so I am all Clear. Next stop referred to a Plastic Surgeon to discuss the mastectomy and reconstruction. It wont happen til next year he said. but once that is done and complete, I can put these past 5 years to rest now. This is my last piece and amazing isnt it in the thick of it all you cannot see the end or the light at the end of the tunnel...but now I see it...feeling super blessed! TWice was twice too much!!!!

- Paula!!! YAY!!!!! OMG!!! I actually burst into tears! Well I have 1 year down, mastectomy next year and running for the 5years and never looking back!!! I so hope, NO I know I too will hit the milestone. Congratulations! xo Melinda

- Woohoo. So happy for you. I had my 5 year clearance earlier this year after my second diagnosis. So good to get there.

- Thank you ladies all of you!! Wishing everyone good health!! I love that quote too!!! I think as I had a recurrence my Surgeon said id have to have diep flap. So be great to talk to the plastic surgeon about it all hugs to all!
I'm sitting here getting my hair done lol feeling blessed to have my hair again yay!
