My Rembrance Day

Today is remembrance day for me as well.

On the 11th of the 11th at 11am 2010 I had a mammogram that changed my life.

Thanks to the work of Benson Radiology I had very early breast cancer detected.

Three years on both boobs are gone and reconstructed.  Im great. Im a completely different person to 3 years ago.

I know that Im strong fit and mentally healthy.

Been a few speeds bumps along the way but Im happy now.

Im off to enjoy the sunshine and have a walk.

    Great to hear your story. I'm just a couple of months in to this and experiencing the roller coaster of breast cancer. Everyone's journey is different and complex but hearing you are well and happy 3 years down the track gives us all hope. Keep well. Chris x

    Dear Annie congratulations on that. I have just been diagnosed today so am feeling scared about what is ahead. Thank you for sharing your wonderful story which fills me with hope. You sound like an amazing woman and while your journey must have been so hard you deserve huge congratulations for getting through it and being so positive. Hugs to you and thanks for giving me hope!
