Pink Sports Day 2013

North Launceston Junior Football Club held a great event today- the Inaugural Mothers Day Cup game. The sun shined and the rain and wind stayed away.

The Club President and his committee worked very hard and many people attended. One mum had kindly made padded bright pink pads for the goal posts and the players wore pink socks and kicked the pink Sherrin.

Great catering by the Club and supported by Bakers Delight Mowbray so there were no hungry supporters around.

My short speech was followed by the game and then I presented the cup to the victors- East Launceston.

I am looking forward to next year!

    Hi Mandy,

Thanks for your note and great to hear firsthand how the event went (sounds like it went very well!). Appreciate you taking the time out of your weekend to attend, so thank you.
