happy news

There has to be some now and then doesn't there ?

Well my daughter has announced that she is expecting a baby in November. Not planned and slightly bad timing but she and her fiance are happy about it so that.s what matters.

Gosh - a grandmother. Not sure about that. Although the grey/white hair fits the bill !

At least I have something positive and happy to focus on now, and a reason to be completely well.

    Hi Magicmum Congratulations on the pending grandchild! How wonderful! These are the precious moments that reminds us we're still alive and have much of ourselves to put out there for sharing. I think I'd be stark-staring bonkers if it wasn't for my weekly nanna duty, & little visits when my son brings step grand daughter and baby grandson to visit nanna on the way home from work. I just love it! My day looking after baby Jackson always tired me out but it's such a satisfying, productive, "I've done something helpful" tired, if you get my meaning! Makes all the ridiculous side effects/pain issues worth bearing. Hang in there! Love & hugs Kathleen

    I am getting used to the idea - started knitting a shawl. I know thatb ythe time Nov comes I will be ready come what may.

    Cogratulations.  you are in for the time of your life.  Grandchildren are the BEST.  Get excited now - it is going to be so much fun for you. XLeonie

    Hi magicmum,

     Congratulations on new expectation in November ! Some things in life are not always planned, but can be good too. I am sure you will make a great grandmother. I am first time Grandmother also, 5 months ago last year.  A boy.. He is lovely and has such a lovely smile and dimples, with lovely blue eyes. They change so quickly, it is nice to see them often and give them a cuddle.
