A month of celebration
It's October, the weather is great and I feel like writing some good stuff!
Have just spent a weekend in Melbourne at the Tim McGraw concert, a weekend in Adelaide at a car rally with my dad's vintage car and truck and a weekend camping out on another block of our farm and I'm scheming to get to Adelaide this weekend to again see my friend's new baby boy who was born 9 weeks early but is doing great! Oh and her too! So, is it chemo or my social life that is making me a bit bushed ;-)
October is a big month for me. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 22 years, I and my wonderful husband have birthdays, we will both be 44! Some of my dear friends have birthdays and most of all I have a 8 year anniversary since I first found my cancer. Each year when this date comes along it feels like such a big milestone to add yet another year to the anniversary. My children are a year older, I have once again done and seen so much more, I have grown to appreciate life more, so much happens in a year and it is a great feeling to once again reach the month of October.
