Looking back
The op for lumpectomy was pretty reasonable - except it had to be done twice. The margins were not clear first time so back I went for a second time. Healed up well.

Good luck with the radiotherapy Liz, hope things go okay from here on in, i cna imgaine the thoughts having to wait for results not once but twice.

That sounds horrible - having to go in a second time and make that decision. Making a decision between a lumpectomy and mastectomy is the worst I reckon - I decided on a lumpectomy too but could have had either. In regards to the tablets you spoke about in your comment on my blog, have they tested your tumour to see if it is hormone positive? If it is then you might have to but otherwise I don't think you will. Let me know how it all goes anyway.
