So, I got through AC. I lived with hair loss. I was traveling along wonderfully on 6 weeks of Taxol, then BAM...suddenly I can't feel the soles of my feet, mt toes feel like sausages & I have the weirdest sensation that my feet are freezing.
Went to the Onc today. No more taxol. I'm told I have objective peripheral neuropathy. Can't risk more Taxol & a new plan must be conceived - try a different drug, skip the lot & go on to radiation or straight to hormones. God, when did this all become so complicated again?
I feel somewhat elated (no more chemo) and partly terrified (possibility of something worse) and partly depressed (what if none of this has worked).
Have been off the blogs & support sites and feel cheap for coming back now that I have a problem - I also know it won't matter to the lovely ladies here & that someone will have a story that will help
