Hi chez and welcome to the network Have you had a look at the Help page yet? It's here: http://bcna.org.au/help. There's a simple user guide on there that will answer some of your questions.
The 'Getting Started' group is also a good place to go to if you want to find others to chat to (there's a 'Get Connected' post there where you can introduce yourself). You can also search for others on the network search page, either by username if you know who you're looking for, or by other characteristics. It's here: http://bcna.org.au/network/users.
To find your messages, just click on the 'inbox' link in your profile. You can't receive external email there, but you can send private messages to other members.
Hope that helps, just ask if you have any questions.

Welcome Chez, hope you enjoy your time with us .... we're really a nice crowd!!!!
Go for a wander through the differnt posts and feel free to jump in even just to say hi. The beauty of this site is you don't have to wait to be introduced to anyone, you are part of the family just by being here.
Have fun

It was lovely to come home from work today and log on and have messages - just for me. I know you must be busy with the little one but let yourself have some time out and get some enjoyment from the online chat. It is just amazing and boy is the member list growing!! Have you had your surgery yet? Do you know what treatment options lie ahead for you? I was diagnosed in Sept 2006 then went on to have a couple of lots of surgery (lumpectomy and wider axilliary clearance). I may have said that I chose not to have chemo but had radium theraphy and am now on Tamoxifen - since Feb 2007. I have been very lucky and have not suffered any side effects. Just have to watch out for some risk factors that are associated with the drug. My gyneo keeps that all under control and looks after me closely. Stay in touch and enjoy the site. XLeonie
