My Chemo in 2020 was EC x4, and Paclitaxol x 12.
EC stands for Epirubicin and Cyclophosphamide.
Does anyone know the difference between EC and AC?
My belief is that they are very similar.

They are very similar. They just target different cancers. Equally horrible

    Dear Blossom1961,
Most people on here have AC, I've never seen anyone say EC for their treatment.
I believed they were almost the same. I was treated for Stage 2, Grade 3 Invasive Ductal BC, Estrogen sensitive

For what it’s worth, the following might indicate that the similarity is greater between EC and TC rather than AC (Adriamycin and  cyclophosphamide).

In adjuvant settings, epirubicin and cyclophosphamide (EC) and docetaxel and cyclophosphamide (TC) are both optional chemotherapy regimens for lymph node-negative, hormone receptor (HR)-positive, human epidermal receptor 2 (HER2)-negative breast cancer patients.
