Earlier this year, I attended a Look Good Feel Better session - and altho I am not a 'girlie girl' (ie I rarely wear makeup of any sort!) I was amazed at just how much fun it was - and I learned that I CAN 'pretty up' if I want to!
Many of us here (particularly newly diagnosed) may not have heard of the program - it is often run by locals (particularly in rural/regional areas) ... They also show/demonstrate different head gear that can be worn during chemo - different styles of turbans & scarves that can give you a 'lift' and make you look & feel better, being out in public.
Some wonderful Aussie makeup companies (well known brands) may contribute to a 'goodies bag' to take home, so that you can continue playing around with it as you go thru your treatment.
Jump onto this site & if you would like to give it a go - do so!! You won't regret it!
