- arpieMemberYep - She has a good mix of honesty and empathy .... which is really needed in an Onc as they need to deliver the bad news as well as the good news.

I don’t often read articles on cancer, not because I find them depressing, but because the writers often seem to be over zealous or too clinical. But I like her stuff. It’s sensible, realistic and kind without being sentimental or mawkish. And it’s a big lesson - what you imagine with your cancer (good or bad) may not be what happens. Just like the rest of life!
