Hi! As my diagnosis is early stage triple negative BC, I have been told that it is very low grade 5% or less. Heading to surgery in about 2 weeks, after my next visit with the surgeon. I have been told it’s just an over night stay. Would love to hear from someone who is maybe trying new kind of treatments.

Hi @Saddie …. Will you be having a mastectomy or lumpectomy?   I had a lumpectomy & was in overnight - I was pretty ‘anxious’ whilst I was being admitted but that all melted away after the surgery was done & I was just so happy to have that ‘thing’ removed!!

I am not up with treatments for Triple Neg ….. but hopefully others will jump on soon with some info for you xx

Re your hospital stay - maybe add ‘taking your own pillow’ as I find most pillows are way too firm for my liking!  Lots of tips on things to take to hospital with you (including the support cushion - that is essential for the drive home!)

A couple of links to check out, re what to take with you ….

I was diagnosed recently and had a lumpectomy & sentinal node removal. I was in as a day p[ateint - in at 12 and back home by 7. Like @arpie I was overjoyed to have the 'blasted' thing out,
My Breast nurse gave me a pillow (crescent shaped) when I had my initial surgeon appointment and I love it. I used it on my way home and since have found it perfect to fit under my arm - stops any rubbing and I slept with it for the first four weeks after mny surgery.
