Can anyone advise on options for accommodation for ongoing treatment for a patient from a remote area of Queensland. Treatment will be in Brisbane. Thankyou.

Hi @Trooper49 - I am rural NSW and was able to stay at Rotary Lodge in Port Macquarie for my radiation treatment (4 weeks) at VERY reasonable costs ...... I just googled Rotary Lodge in Qld & it came up with these:
Apex Lodge, Herston Brisbane

Ellis Lodge, South Brisbane

Wesley Rotary Lodge, Brisbane

I hope you are able to find low-cost accomodation for your treatment ...... good luck xx

Hi @Trooper49, might also be worth speaking to the social worker at the hospital.
I'm in rural Tas and was very fortunate to be given very affordable accommodation through the social worker at the public hospital I attended.
Hope you are able to find something suitable and affordable, certainly helps to take one stress away.
Best wishes,
