Searching for a new GP in Townsville
Hi All. Am searching for a decent GP in Townsville - who understands the specific challenges of post treatment breast cancer. I was diagnosed in March 2016 with triple negative. Did 8 rounds of TAC + double mastectomy + sentinel node biopsy + 25 rounds of intense dose radiation + 8 cycles of Capecitabine. Am 3 years cancer free. Have moved to Townsville and need to find a good GP who understands. Any suggestions?

- Breast Cancer Peer Support Group Townsville meets 2nd Sunday and 4th Wednesday of each month - various locations' will send a message with the details.

- Welcome to Townsville. I have just changed GPs and see a doctor at Riverway medical centre. Will send you a private message when I work out how. Not sure how much she really knows about BC though. There's an active support group which meet up regularly and a dragon boat club.
