Sorry to hear that you're struggling. I have/am finding this part of BC to be a huge challenge. You could try The Gawler Foundation. Best wishes. K xox0

Dear @carob Have a look at The Otis Foundation https://www.otisfoundation.org.au . They have holiday homes in every state just for people affected by breast cancer. It is rent-free for eligible people, with some time restrictions.1

@jennyss this site looks amazing. I had already booked some leave for later in the year before all this happened but I was just gonna stay at home. After all the crap this year though I wanted to get away and this site is perfect.1

I'm on the waiting list for one of their properties. I've found them nice to deal with.1

I'm sure there is more but I guess the Olivia Newton John one is the most well known.0 -
My breast nurse mentioned the Otis Foundation to us. She highly recommended it and is involved in charity work to raise money for it.1

An Otis holiday may not be the same as a 'retreat' but I've thoroughly enjoyed the two stays I've had. The old adage, a change is as good as a holiday, is true for me.
Money being an issue, Otis ticks all the boxes. Some of the properties are good for groups others are fine for just a couple of people. It all depends where you live and how far you are willing to travel.0
