I'm liking the bed socks my Mum knitted for me. I only need to wear one on my right foot ( don't ask) so they should last twice as long. I'm thankful she spent her time on them and, by association, me.6

I am thankful for all those who have provided medical and other support (not just for cancer). I took good health for granted for a long time, and it is good to know what skill and resources are available when suddenly you need them.
I am grateful for everything (and there has been a lot, nearly all of it good) I have experienced over the last 5 years - I might not have had any of it.
I am grateful for what I have learned abut the inevitability and nature of death - none of us is leaving here alive - and the alleviation of that primal fear. As St Augustine said - Not yet! But no longer the bitter enemy.
