Hi all
Its been a while since I have posted but I have 5 rads left until I finish my treatment. I'm hoping to start work in about two weeks only on a casual basis. Basically just looking for tips on how adjusting to life as a new normal or again?
I have continued to exercise through rads so not really having much fatigue just some really affected skin.
also, any tips on healing post rads?
oh and I had my first haircut on Tuesday. Crazy how quick its growing. Hope everyone is going well xx

My tips are ...don't be surprised at how tired you might feel. Consider doing shorter shifts. Try to have a mid week break if you can. Accept you may need a short nap before you tackle evening chores like meals. Try to get adequate sleep. If you get overtired don't be surprised if teary. Can be a 2 step forward and 1 back kinda thing. Hope all goes well. Hair looks fabulous. I'm envious as mine is silver curls.1

Lol. I need my hair just a bit longer to straighten the front. I don't think I could grab the curl with a flat iron it's so tight. My cowlick doesn't help. It's terribly dry though. Yes. ..progressing well in recovery and back now 4 days a week.1

Hi ccasper ,I finished rads five weeks ago... My energy levels are low but are picking up. I also experienced being teary several times. I thought it was just me but have met others that the same thing has happened. My skin is still peeling and regenerating on my breast.
I would suggest starting on 2 days a week if you have a choice and then building up. I feel fine but am always underestimating what I can do.

Thanks @fairydust I think two days is enough when I have an almost two year old as well. Glad you are getting more energy xx0
