Hi Everyone
Found this article (link below) in recent Beacon issue. For anyone with DCIS diagnosis - hope you find it helpful - I did!
Having been through DCIS diagnosis and treatment, I know how difficult it is to weigh up risks and make treatment decisions when there's no clear path to follow.
My thought for the week ahead - Do something kind - just for you - every day!

I disagree about the wording pre- cancerous . ..it is pre invasive yes but they are cancer cells.

It is a very confusing and fraught issue that many struggle with. Hopefully the clinical trials will help to develop more conclusive ways of dealing with DCIS.0

Good to hear that there's also work being done on decision aids that may help women with DCIS in the future.
