So many times I've questioned certain circumstances and things I could not understand.
Many times in trials my weakness blurs my vision and my frustration gets so out of hand.
It's then I am reminded I've never been forsaken, I've never had to stand one test alone.
As I look at all the victories the Spirit rises up in me, It's through the fire my weakness is made strong.

He never promised that the cross would not get heavy and the hill would not be hard to climb.
He never offered a victory without fighting but He said help would ALWAYS come in time.
Just remember when you're standing in the valley of decision and the advisory says 'give in', Just HOLD ON,
Our Lord will show up, and He will take you through the fire again!

    Thanks Ne,  I needed to read this as I am struggling with my Taxol chemo & last night was worse pain & blood pressure went so low.  I hold on & fight & prayed.  I hope the Lord will stay with me in this battle.

    Thanks Ne, what's the name of that song? I love the words. The Lord never promised us an easy life, but did promise that whatever we go through he is with us. Sure helps to know there is a better life to come xXx

    It is called Through the Fire.  I listen to the cover by Randy Travis from his CD Glory Train, and I get goosebumps when I sing it so loud in my car.  It is a very humbling yet invigorating song for me x

    O Ne, I just listened to this song and cried, my heart and soul were so overwhelmed with the grace of our Lord who indeed takes us through the fire. Thank you for sharing this with us xx
