Hi ladies. I don't know if you've noticed some minor cosmetic changes, but I thought I'd let you know how your feedback was put to good use.
- We removed the big banner from the online network home page. We felt it took up too much room and you had to scroll down too much to get to the posts.
- We removed the social sharing buttons from member profiles. They weren't being used and we felt it was inappropriate to be sharing people's profiles to social media.
- We added a join date to member profiles.
- We discovered that the contacts list could be seen by people not logged in and felt that was inappropriate so made that visible to members only and depending on their privacy settings.
- There was a problem with groups editing their profile pictures and that should be fixed now.
Now I'm reviewing the to-do list again and re-prioritising. High on the list is making it so comments don't get narrower and narrower. And re-labeling the Recommend button as a Like is something we've had positive feedback about.
Messages is something that we hear complaints about. We know it has errors and these bugs that we're working on, but what else would improve Messages for you?

Hi Cosette, I had noticed some of those changes, so thank you for listening and acting on our feedback so far. Glad to hear you are working on the narrowing of responses, that will certainly make a difference. Also, glad you are re-labelling the Recommend button - I think that makes more sense :-)
In relation to messages, the main gripe I have is with the time it takes to delete messages. I can only seem to do it successfully in batches of about 8 at a time which when you have several hundred messages gets really time-consuming. Also, sometimes I mark something as read but then it appears again later as unread - not sure why?
Thanks! Jane

There doesn't seem to be a tally of messages stored and read. There could be hundreds sometimes. On other forums admins have said it takes up a lot of memory for the forum and they limit members to say 500 messages and a notification pops up limit reached. Then the member may copy the inspiring ones into a personal file on their own pc and delete all the less important ones and off they go again with a cleaner message bank.

The blog post "Am getting anxious" can not be found. I can't bring up previous notifications of it either from my messages.

Thanks Cosette,
look forward to the reply boxes not shrinking in size. It would certainly be good if we could delete messages more quickly.
