Hi Everyone, my hubby and I have arrived in Wangaratta for their Jazz and Blues Festival that starts tonight and runs all weekend. We're off to dinner, then over to the Blues Marquee tonight to see Joe Camalleri and the Black Sorrows. Getting ready to shake a tail feather, Trace ??????

    Hi Tracey,

Shake that tail feather!! I celebrated a friend's birthday by seeing a band a few weeks ago, Masala  (in Sydney) who played a fantastic mix of Cuban, Serbian music. Excellent brass and percussion.  I wasn't able to stay for long due to rads, but my friends danced the night away. Enjoy the festival.

Just to let you know I finished rads yesterday.  Celebrated with a few girls last night at a restaurant where quite a lot of bubbly was consumed, so much hysterical laughing (it could be mistaken for an incontinence pad commercial!). Happy that that part is done and dusted. Time to enjoy the music!

Good on you Karen, sounds like you had a lovely night with your friends. Hoping that your rads weren't too bad for you, and that your skin survived okay. I got up and had a boogie on the dance floor last night. LOL, showing my age, knew all the words to the Black Sorrow songs, and sung to the top of my lungs (would have frightened all the neighbourhood cats away, but there were other bad singers around me, so it don't matter) Had a wonderful night, will be back there today to see Wilbur Wildes band, so looking forward to that one. Cuddles, Trace ??????

Sounds like you had a fantastic time Tracey! Good to hear the Black sorrows still filling the dance floor.

My skin hasn't been too bad according to the nurses. I've got a small burn under my arm which is sore and I'm dressing. I think I keep cooking for the next 2 weeks.

I've put away the scarves and wearing my baby hair as what my hubby and friends call the rock chick look!

    Have fun,

    Karen xx

Good on you Kazzi, I'm almost ready to do the baby hair thing, as I'm just barely getting hair coverage over my whole head, looked like a monk for a little while LOL. Keep on rockin, and I hope that those urns heal real soon. Big hugs, Trace ????????
