Thoughtful people

Hi everyone, hope you are all travelling as well as possible. I was invited to a fundraiser yesterday for Breast Cancer being held by a friend of mine. We became friends at my workplace. She lives in complex with a nice bbq area and when I arrived I found out that I was the inspiration for the whole thing. She just felt the need to do something to help. It was a small affair with donated goods being raffled and a cake stall etc. She raised $620 and she worked so hard for quite some time leading up to yesterday. What a thoughtful friend and a nice person. I assured her that the money would be well used. I actually made a speech thanking everybody and explaining how much support there is out there for us going through this. It's good to know there are such beautiful people in this world.     How lovely Hazel, and how brave of you to get up and make a speech. I would have been a teary mess. It is inspiring what people do to support. It keeps us going during our treatment. Sending you a cuddle, Trace ??

    Hi Tracey, thank you for the cuddle. Yes, I was a bit nervous about speaking, bit shaky. I just felt I had to acknowledge her hard work. I do still get emotional when I think back to my dark days, but I'm very happy with my life now,
