Keep the conversation going

Following on from the BCNA Summit where the theme was " starting the conversation " I thought it was appropriate to keep the conversation going.  As women we all know how talking about things makes us feel better and given that talking and sharing is one of the great ways we support each other on this network, especially through some of our most difficult and challenging times.

Connecting and sharing on this site not only gives us the ability to express honestly how we are feeling it also allows us to

  • Compare experiences
  • ask questions
  • support others
  • celebrate milestones
  • share difficulties
  • connect with others

For me this has been an essential part of my journey and has helped me find information, connect with others on a similar path and reassure me when I was unsure.

Lets keep this online network a vibrant and active place where everyone feels welcomed and supported and keep the conversation going.

Well said. While I'm only at the beginning, I find reading other posts and the responses so helpful. The support to be found on this network is invaluable

Yes,let's keep it going:):):) I notice sometimes that a post doesn't get a reply.Lets try to acknowledge all posts, even if they are about something that we are not familiar with.I remember the early days for me,I would check on here to see if someone had replied to what I had written. It was such a great feeling, and gave me a real sense of belonging.Cheers Robyn xox

I agree ladies, those who went to the summit connected with strangers and the online is no different, even regardless of the changes the ultimate is that most of us started on here as a first time blogger.its that reassurance no matter if it's a first blog or a fiftieth it's the reaching out to let someone know.  I myself will endeavour more to start the conversation.  Adean xxx

Hi Chris! It was soooooo great to meet you at Summit last week and even better to see that you're already online 'keeping the conversation going'. I hope to see old and new members back in the online network gaining and giving support :-)

Totally agree Chris. I could talk to you all day. But seriously I know how much the contact with the ladies on this site has helped me.

    Lets keep talking girls.

So true, Robyn. I certainly check for responses, but do get frustrated when I can't find posts that I know I've commented on
