Results are in.

hi everyone, just wanted to share some positve news in our triple negative group. Today I got my cat scan results. I am all fine. No sign of metastatic disease. Such good news. I am now 4 years post my second diagnosis. Just wanted all you newly diagnosed ladies to know that it's not all doom and gloom for us. Yes I had a recurrence but it was quite soon after initial diagnosis (18mths). But I am still here and cancer free 4 years later.

Hang in there girls.

It can get better.

  • Fantastic news Paula. It is really positive to hear stories like yours especially for those of us still in treatment and fighting to stay clear of cancer. Did you have yearly scans post your second diagnosis?

Thanks for posting your great news

  • Hi Michelle,

thats great news 3 years!!! I think the reason for all my scans etc is the recurrence and I had a positive node with the first diagnosis. Each year further away from that is brilliant.

  • That's wonderful, Paula!  Feel really thrilled for you!  4 years is fantastic!   Yesterday I got the all clear from the breast surgeon for my 3 year check-up, so walking on air too.  No scans though.  Maybe after 4 years?!  To all the newbies - it gets better - xxx Michelle
