Being Creative for a cause

Hello luvlies

I just thought I would share with you some of my recent sewing tasks.  I am sewing for an organisation called capes4kids.  Supa hero capes for sick kids.  They get distributed to the hospital and places like Ronald MacDonald etc.  I have had some luvly people donate fabric to me to make these capes which I am really grateful for.

I have also done some sewing for my precious grandkids for
Easter and other pieces for my granddaughter Miss Millie xo  There is lots more but I wont bore you with them all heehee xo

I used to sew for my kids many many moons again and now that I am on the mend health wise I have decided to take it back up until I get back out in to the workplace again I guess.  I have attached some pics (if I can get them posted that is as still finding my way around the new program - hard to teach an old dog new tricks but not impossible LOL).

    Hi Mich. I love your pics! How great to be creative for cause. I think your Easter rabbits and carrots are so cute. I have been doing some sewing lessons for a while and i really love it. I hadn't done any sewing when i was younger so it has opened up a whole new world for me. Hope to see some more of your pics soon.

    Love your work Mich. I'm a sewer too and used to make my 2 girls all their clothes.I'm back into art and sewing big time!  If I ever figure out this site, I'll put up some pics.Hope you are doing ok Mich. love n hugs,Tonya xx

    Hi Mich x, these are so lovely and for such a good cause :-) Sewing can be such a great way to get creative. 

    My grandmother also used to sew for me when i was younger, and then when i got older she taught me to sew also.

    I still love doing it, and my gran still sews little gifts for me now even though I'm 30 and she is 91 :-)

    Hi Mich x,   Loved your pics, I also do things for a cause, sell my creations and donate the money to my fave charities.   It all helps keep the mind off the 'dark side'.  Best wishes Muriel
