I just wanted to share my first knitting project for this year! The colour of the wool is called 'Volcano' which I think is a perfect description! I knitted a similar cowl in a lovely shade of green last year and just loved it!

I agree a very appropriate name for the colour of the wool. What a great job. That is definitely going to keep you warm with winter coming on. Here in Perth the afternoons are perfect but the mornings and the nights are getting a lil bit on the bitterly cold side but I guess it is only a taste of what we are in for.
I cant knit even though I have tried a number of times. I am one of those impatient peoples who likes to see a project finished ASAP.
I am now sewing again as haven't sewn for many many a year, since my kids were little but I now have the opportunity to sew for the grandees.
I have been sewing a project for an organisation called capes4kids which are supa hero capes for sick kids in hospital etc. That is keeping me busy.

Lovely colour, sadly I can't knit and hubby has warned that if I learn anymore crafts then it will be divorce...lol
But very impressed with the new colours out there this season.
