7th January is the anniverary of my diagnosis one year ago

It was the day when the senior radiologist Dr Jane Nuttall turned the screen away so I could not see what she was indicating to the younger one, and advised me that it was suspicious and to see my GP as soon as possible after the results were back.

Her assessment of my cancer and the IDC/DCIS measurements were spot on.

I wanted to take her flowers to thank her for saving my life, but they advised me that she has retired and is traveling. They suggested I send her a card which they will pass on to her on her return.

I willl start the day by going in to the Mount Hospital for my next dose of Herceptin.

Anniversaries like this can be really hard., I'd like  to figure out how to handle this and to even  celebrate getting through the toughest year of my life and the wonderful people  who have helped me so much.

Any suggestions?
