Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a great Xmas and are ready for the new year whatever that may bring.

I received a great Xmas present its am myofascial roller
I googled use of the roller and found some great exercises to release those pressure points. I was unable to do much rolling as my arms and shoulders are not what they used to be, I'm sure this will improve with time.

I mainly just rested my body on the roller which released the tightness. the one I really loved was to lie face down with the roller slightly across my upper chest and part under my arm this a great release for the chest muscle and tightness I had there. In the link she uses a soft ball whereas I found the roller good.

The rollers are inexpensive you can get them at Kmart.
i was ultra careful not to put any strain on my chest.
I have also used a cricket ball on my butt muscles.
I have included this link for more information.

I'm 8 weeks post mastectomy and I will try to keep this up until my lat Doris reconstruction in March. Not sure what I will be able to do after that.
