Wait and see

Do not worry, wait and see. That is what I told myself when I found a lump in my breast. My Doctor confirmed that it was indeed a lump and sent me to see a surgeon, do not worry, wait and see. After my mammogram and Ultrasound I had a fine needle asp of the lump and a odd shaped lymph gland, I could not have a core biopsy as I am taking blood thinners so I had to wait 24 hrs for the results but do not worry. Both came back positive. Then off for staging tests, do not worry wait and see. Today I go back to the surgeon. I am not to worry I will wait and see

    My staging tests were all good reports no other cancer was found. So I am to have a Breast-Conserving surgery for my lump and Axillary Dissection for my lymph glands, followed by radiotherapy. I asked if I would have to have chemotherapy the answer we will have to Wait and See.

    Once you're on the bc ride there is a lot of"wait and see". My mantra is 'prepare for the worst but hope for the best" I'm sorry you have a bc diagnosis but welcome to this wonderful network where we all support each other.Let us know how your appointment went today.Tonya xx

    As hard as it is, it is always best to wait and see,or just one day at a time.There is no point in jumping ahead,and I can clearly see this now after having finished treatment about a year ago.Be guided by your doctor,and come on this blog for all the day to day stuff that you will need support for.Stay in touch .Cheers xoxRobyn
