Hi everyone, hope you are all travelling as well as possible. I was invited to a fundraiser yesterday for Breast Cancer being held by a friend of mine. We became friends at my workplace. She lives in complex with a nice bbq area and when I arrived I found out that I was the inspiration for the whole thing. She just felt the need to do something to help. It was a small affair with donated goods being raffled and a cake stall etc. She raised $620 and she worked so hard for quite some time leading up to yesterday. What a thoughtful friend and a nice person. I assured her that the money would be well used. I actually made a speech thanking everybody and explaining how much support there is out there for us going through this. It's good to know there are such beautiful people in this world.
