I want to also nominate endocrine therapy esp aromatase inhibitors and incidence of side effects, drop out and what actual research says. The information is very poor and I will scream if “talk to your doctor” continues to be the oncology communities ONLY effort at addressing side effects. That is simply lazy and elitist. Why do women drop out? What info is needed first, decision making, ethics of gene testing and how not to be smug prick. The AIs are being pushed heavily but women’s voices are not being heard. We desperately need oncology to agree some base line data on side effects. Downplaying and dismissing serious side effects women report is what happened long ago in medicine and yet, here we are again. #aromataseinhibitors #Arimidex
