Sale Forum Wrap-up

Thank you to the Gippsland community for hosting BCNA on Wednesday 27 February for our first forum of the year!


175 women supported by many husbands, partners, family and friends travelled to Sale from greater Gippsland including Orbost, Traralgon, Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance to attend  our first forum for 2013.

As media officer at BCNA I was particularly thrilled with the support of local media outlets with pre-promotion of the forum in:

  • Gippsland Times
  • Latrobe Valley Express
  • ABC Gippsland

BCNA National Programs Manager Julie Hassard and Olympian Raelene Boyle paid the ABC Gippsland studio a visit on Wednesday morning before the forum and enjoyed a great interview with Celine Foenander.

WIN Gippsland and Gippsland Times also attended on the day to cover the event.

A special mention must go to BCNA Community Liaison Marlene Parsons who was amazing at rallying her contacts, spreading the word, and being involved in media to promote the forum.

Thank you to everybody who attended and made the day such a success!

    I bet Marlene - not surprised a superstar like you is in demand!

    So glad to hear the feedback from the local community has been overwhelmingly positive and that new connections are being made - that's what it's all about isn't it...

    And I loved the photo on the Gippsland Times Christie - so much pink!

    Yes the forum was certainly a great sucess for the area.

    I know I enjoyed the day!!!

    We even made the front cover of the Gippsland Times. EEKK

    havent had time to scratch since wednesday

    just returned from a girls weekend away and ready to get back to "WORK"

    great day

    wonderful speakers but most important

    many many new women now know what BCNA is and have been introduced to the Waratahs
    ran into a couple of women over the weekend and feedback was fantastic

    well done to the pink team

Meeting A Forum Friend
